Position Title:      Night Auditor
 
A Night Auditor's job functions include:
Candidates must be able to work Third Shift - (10/11pm to 6/7am).
Process guest registrations, including the computation and collection of payment.
Complete and verify all audit paperwork and shift reports.
Process all financial transactions, including the verification and processing of credit card transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Perform nightly balancing of LodgeNet and long distance telephone services to ensure proper posting to property management system; perform nightly backup of server.
Prepare express checkout folios.
Maintain room status inventory.
Communicate all pertinent shift information to General Manager and other desk staff.
Respond to guest inquiries regarding hotel services, reservations, attractions, directions, etc.
Send and receive telephone calls and facsimiles; sort incoming mail and messages.
Respond to guest needs, special requests, and complaints as needed.
Process guest invocations of 100% satisfaction guarantee.
Smile, acknowledge, and greet guests at front desk and other public areas
Be available to work a flexible schedule.
Perform work duties in accordance with Company safety and security policies and procedures, as well as in accordance with posted OSHA, HazCom, and Blood Borne Pathogen regulations.
Report and store lost-and-found items in accordance with hotel procedures.
Oversee Night Audit task and work with other overnight crews including housekeeping and security.
Check in all remaining guests efficiently
Check out any early check outs efficiently
Knowledge of reservation system and hotel policy and procedures
Utilize and understand card key system
Follow all procedures of night audit checklist
Enter wake-up calls into computer as necessary
Communicate with morning and evening shifts
Balance credit cards for each department
Run reports for Accounting and Executive Office
Must be able to operate basic office machines, i.e., copier, fax, printer, etc.
Must display very good organization and time management skills.
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with many types of personalities.
Must have sound judgment and discretional skills and be able to work with little or no supervision.
Must be able to consistently work under pressure and simultaneously prioritize multiple projects.
Must be able to work with sensitive and confidential material.
 
Position Title:      Guest Service Agents
 
Greet all customers in a smiling, friendly manner.
Be able to act in the manner of a hotel concierge. Front Desk Agents should be able to suggest to guest; events to attend around town, places to eat around facility and know directions around town.
Check-in and Check-out guests quickly and efficiently, following all established procedures and policies.
Review arriving reservations checking for special requests, Priority Club members etc., pre-assigning rooms as necessary.
Count cash drawer at beginning and end of each shift. Prepare shift deposit accurately, following standard procedures.
Enter all wakeup calls accurately.
Make reservations for guests that call.
Handle complaints efficiently and courteously. Listen carefully to the guest?s problem.
Coordinate with Housekeeping regarding room(s) status frequently during the day, transmitting checked out rooms to Housekeeping and receiving ready rooms from Housekeeping.
File folios and Registration cards as necessary.
Coordinate with Maintenance on any guest reported or observed problems.
Answer telephone efficiently and pleasantly within three rings and with correct phrasing. Determine nature of call and transfer to proper extension.
Complete shift checklist before end of shift.
Send and receive faxes as needed.
Other tasks and duties on an as needed basis.
 
Requirements
Able to work Monday through Sunday
Available to work both shifts of either 7am - 3pm or 3pm to 11am
Have good computers skills
Have great communications skills and speaking voice
Have dependable transportation
Great personality
Able to work well on their own or as a Team
Able to Multi-task
Customer Service Experience a plus
Holiday Inn or other Hotel Front Desk Experience a plus but not required
Able to take direction
Punctual and dependable
